There for a 60th birthday with my 87 year old mother and reservations with specifics made week before.Overall, a poor experience - bad service by a very inexperienced waitress, food took over 45 minutes after appetizers and were told they had a private group of 20 they were serving 1st. When I complained the waitress said "I can bring you more bread'?? The food was cold when served and pretty tasteless. Our bill was $320 with wine and tip.Have eaten here (not this location Stadium) several times and it has been good. Won't be returning
Absolutely brutal, i've had better service at 7-11...Messed up the same pasta dish 3 times!! and had the audacity to talk down to us asking if we usually have problems ordering when we go out!To try and justify not removing chicken bones form a rotisserie chicken? Took 10 minutes on a Thursday night to be seated.Shall i go on?
A bit pricey but good.
Ok food for a high price. Their service is fast and attentive. The ambience is very good with the low light. You have the flexibility of ordering half orders for the pasta if you want. Their chicken are awesome! Their pork loin is excellent too. However, their steak portions are way too small. If they want to claim to be an upscale restaurant, they fail to do that with the steak. That's why I'm changing my review. It's a shame.
Good good menu
Love the environment and staff!!!!
Nice restaurant, albeit smaller than I expected. Food was great, and my wife likes this place a lot.
Excellent :-)
Not sure what's going at this place, but for $40+ entrees, you sort of expect a bit of a departure from the norm. What I mean by this is, the management should be asking families to remove themselves when their children are acting up in the restaurant. Honestly, there were kids running around and screaming. This is something I expect from Jack Astors or Kelseys or the such. It was beyond annoying (to everyone in there). My 8oz striploin was overdone, but the sides were pretty good (had broccolini and mushrooms).Normally I don't worry too much about the atmosphere. But with prices as steep as they were, the place felt like a low budget family diner.
I loved eating here when I lived in Calgary, great atmosphere and I like how they did the menu. Nice choices.
The service is sooooooooo slow and horrible, the waitress is not aware of what they have and don't.. This includes the chef, they claim it's because of changes.. Hmmmm..
Really well prepared food. Service is attentive. Nice cozy tables. Room perfect for quiet conversations. Wine list is good. Premium liquor avail. Cant go wrong with the beef.
Decent spot for breakfast.
High class good food good service
A little more pretentious than rustic, especially the prices, but great food and top notch service.
A staple go to for a good night out - good seating, good ambiance, great food.
Love this place
Wack.
Plain. Bland. Boring. Don't know how else to describe it. Came here years ago and it was so delicious. Had chicken and asparagus. The asparagus was JUST asparagus. No seasoning, no butter, no flavour. just plain, boring asparagus. The chicken was JUST chicken, and the sauce, I'm pretty sure, came from Swiss Chalet. Basically expensive food that you could easily prepare at home.
Great food. Service was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our dining experience lovely. Our glasses never went empty and our plates were cleaned up quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We went here awhile ago and it was good but this time it was okay... the food was bordering on too salty, the service was really relax, maybe too much. I use to think of it above the regular steak joints but not really anymore. Not bad but not special. Awww
